We had the best experience with Fob. The expect was possibly 2 minutes. The young man was very polite checking us in. He besides gave us a gratuitous upgrade. Motorcar was make clean and had enough of room. Returning the car was even easier! I am late writing this review. Merely THANK Y'all FOR MAKING THIS SO Easy FOR United states of america! I will keep to book when we travel.

I actually had a positive feel renting from Fox Rentals in San Francisco and returning to Fox in San Diego. The wait was minimal, received a gratuitous upgrade, no serious attempts to upsell me on whatever extras, and no additional charges than what was expected on my credit card. For the record, I booked direct through the Fox Rentals website.

This was in Phoenix, AZ. My family and I were having major bug with the automobile we rented from a dissimilar rental, and spent hours trying to fix it. An amazing man named, Boyfriend, from Fox helped me hire a machine later we left the first place. He had an amazing piece of cake-going attitude which calmed my intense anxiety. We cracked jokes and had such an like shooting fish in a barrel time getting a new motorcar in but x minutes! I'll recall you Fellow! When returning out car, Norman helped us do a squeamish, quick cheque in. He was also an Eastward declension man, which we bonded over. Loved the experience I had hither! Volition utilize again!

I've had a great experience with Melissa who helped me to select the right car for the trip and who diligently and patiently tried to arrange (and succeeded!) all my needs. The Hyundai Elantra worked out like a charm for me. I am very happy!

I booked Fox Rent a Car through Hopper equally the pricing was about one-half the cost of other rental car agencies. Afterward booking, I read through the reviews and became very nervous as the reviews were pretty bad. Multiple hr await times, no cars available, dirty & cleaved vehicles, unauthorized charges etc. Nosotros reserved a mini van and received a 2019 Dodge Thou Caravan with 44K miles. It was definitely a base of operations model - seats & lights were not automatic- just the vehicle ran fine and got us from signal A to Bespeak B.
The cheque in process could have been quicker. It took a one-half hour at the counter earlier it was our turn and some other half hr in the garage to expect for our vehicle to be brought to u.s.a. so near an hr in total. I read many reviews about additional charges that the consumer was not aware of. Nosotros were charged a $150 security deposit that was promptly refunded. We were as well charged about $63 for an additional driver which I didn't come across on their website when booking even though we listed him on the booking. I am under the impression that if it had been a spouse it is no charge but this was my adult son. They did conspicuously state there would exist an actress charge when we picked up the vehicle. I read reviews nigh actress charges regarding tolls just there were no tolls in our areas.
They offered us all of the additional insurances but we declined and they were not pushy every bit many other reviews take claimed and zilch additional was charged without our knowledge except the $63 for the additional commuter that we agreed to. We brought the automobile back completely full equally some reviews stated that they were told information technology was cheaper to take them fill it but in fact it was a huge charge. They did state that when the car was returned you must have the credit carte y'all booked the reservation with equally it would be swiped. My son returned the car which was the reason nosotros put him as a driver and he is not in possession of our credit menu. The but manner around that was he had to give his credit bill of fare for the eolith and extra $63. It was a hassle and in the end they never asked to see his credit carte when he returned the vehicle.
I guess in decision, this wasn't my preferred rental car agency. The await time was a fleck long, and the vehicle was definitely no frills. It was more than of a budget car rental experience but nosotros did save several hundred dollars, the customer service agents were friendly, and for the price savings I was happy enough with our experience.

Rented at car at TPA for one calendar week. Went through ane toll for $.54 and play tricks added $15.00 admin fee. Complete ripoff. I was not aware of any toll charges and was non informed that if needed I could purchase a Sun pass account through the Florida Highway arrangement.

When registering to pick upwards the car the agent informed me they did not accept my credit card insurance coverage and the extra would exist $36/day. He tried to tell me it was Mexican law that my credit bill of fare could non be used. I told him that was not true as I had rented previously from other companies and never had an issue. He and so pulled out a crumpled printed sheet and said it was their policy. In that location was no mention of this when making the booking. I left and will never book with Fox again. Beware they are owned by Europcar. So I accept blackness listed them as well.

Rented a machine at Los Angeles Airdrome, lengthy wait for the vehicle late at night, missold additional insurance which I requested not to be added and misinformed that I had to take out additional payments for the LA cost roads as there is no other way to pay. This is false. Considerably out of pocket. The company practice not reply to direct advice. I would recommend lament through the state department of consumer and business concern diplomacy, which is easily done online. For California the link is beneath **

Took over 1 hour to be "next" and nosotros were quaternary in line. The reason information technology was taking so long is that they started tacking on charges to anybody'southward confirmation for fees, insurance etc etc. We finally got out of there in just under two hours. Carlos tried to help two of us at the same time...interim so self that he was "going to take care of usa"... Well I finally got a straight answer from the boss of the timeshare salesperson there "YES", the car reps are on committee! The more than fees they tack onto your motorcar rental, the more than they make!!!! Also, if you lot do rent here, DO NOT let them tell you they have photos of all the scratches and dents every bit Carlos of grade did but when nosotros returned the guy said NO, there was nothing reported. Give thanks sky we had taken over a dozen and he finally accepted when we showed him the date nosotros took. THEY ARE AFTER YOUR MONEY! Beware of Carlos!

My good friend Barbara ** rented an SUV from Fox with my daughter Anea as the authorized second driver for a trip to Seattle and back to Burbank. I was the passenger. Upon arriving in Seattle and pulling into the hotel's parking garage, a rear tire shredded to treadless strips of rubber. Give thanks God we were merely going less than 5mph when this happened. Fox, displaying marked indifference to the situation, suggested no course of action other than we buy a new tire. Tires don't shred on rental cars when maintained, serviced and replaced when required. A few days later on, the vehicle would not start, and the service lite was on. Nosotros added more gasoline, but the automobile nonetheless wouldnt start. Fox offered to bring u.s. another vehicle and pick upwardly the quondam one. They did bring us a new one and towed away the commencement ane. At no fourth dimension was the vehicle in any standoff or accident. Had in that location been a standoff or accident there would of class have been a total blow report filed.
We were all shocked when Fox billed Ms ** about $two,000 in repairs to a vehicle that was NEVER DAMAGED while in our possession. They referred to "the incident" -- there was never an incident! At that place was never any damage. If at that place were damage it could only be AFTER the vehicle was taken from us past the towing company. Wait, information technology gets worse. Prior to returning the vehicle to Burbank, an incident report was filed of a NO DAMAGE/NO COLLISION effect at a finish light when a car slammed on its brakes in forepart of our vehicle. Our vehicle stopped without making any straight contact with vehicle in front end. The driver of the forepart car, (uninsured) insisted on a report as he wanted to merits that his mother-in-law in the front rider seat suffered whiplish and a paring in the right SIDE of his car (obviously preexistent) was caused by non-existent collision! His attempts obviously failed.
When the vehicle was returned to Flim-flam there was no revelatory discovery of new damage to the vehicle whatsoever. Later, however, Ms ** was billed $1600 for repairs when at that place was zippo to repair as there was no new damage whatever to the vehicle. More than one complaint regarding these blatant fraudulent charges have been filed with the State Attorney General, and I am amazed that this company is still in business.
